Little Dragons (ages 5-10) - At Central FL Karate Academy our Little Dragons thrive in a structured learning environment. We work to increase their focus and self-control. Our patient and enthusiastic instructors help them to learn respect, self-discipline, balance, coordination, and so much more. In addition, this class is an early introduction to exercise for building life-long healthy habits. At CFKA, your child will gain greater focus, which will carry over to home and school as well. We also have a ton of FUN!
Ages 11-Adult- In our classes, we increase the intensity and difficulty of our lessons to better suit a more mature student. In our classes, students will learn a variety of skills and techniques that will help them to build their confidence and defend themselves in tough situations, if necessary. We teach forms, sparring, weapons, and board breaking and attend numerous tournaments throughout the year as well as hosting our own tournament. We instill the values of respect, courtesy, courage, discipline, perseverance, and integrity that are the foundation of martial arts dating back thousands of years. In addition to our regular curriculum, we also focus on honing self-defense skills. Our classes are a great way to stay fit, improve balance, learn self-defense, improve flexibility, and increase confidence.
